Passport Fee Revision from 1 July 2026: Apply Before 30 June to Save

The Government of India has announced a revision in passport application fees effective from 1 July 2026. Applicants planning to apply for a new passport or renew an existing one may benefit by completing the application before 30 June 2026 under the current fee structure.

If you are planning to work abroad, applying for your passport before the revised charges take effect may help reduce your application cost. Early preparation can also help avoid delays during overseas recruitment and visa processing.
