UK Temporary Shortage List Update | MAC Recommends Reducing Eligible Job Categories

The UK Migration Advisory Committee (MAC) has recommended reducing the Temporary Shortage List from 52 job categories to 28. This is currently a proposal-stage recommendation and has not yet become a final government rule.

Applicants, employers, and recruitment professionals should avoid treating the proposed changes as confirmed policy. Any revisions will take effect only after the UK Government completes its review and issues an official decision.
