Saudi Arabia OHTL & Substation Jobs 2026 | Project Manager, Engineers & Site Roles

A high-voltage overhead transmission line (OHTL) and substation project in Saudi Arabia is currently shortlisting candidates for multiple engineering and management positions. The recruitment includes Project Manager and Site Manager roles for OHTL projects, QA/QC Electrical and Civil Engineers, and Civil and Electrical Project Site Engineers.

The Project Manager position offers SAR 15,000 per month and requires a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, with PMP and SCE registration preferred. Candidates need 10–15 years of power transmission experience, including at least 5 years managing HV/EHV OHTL projects involving 132kV, 230kV, or 380kV systems. SEC experience is highly preferred. The role covers project mobilization through final handover, including execution plans, schedules, resource strategies, and technical guidance.

The Site Manager position offers SAR 13,000 per month and requires similar educational and experience qualifications, including 10–15 years in power transmission and at least 5 years managing HV/EHV OHTL projects. Responsibilities include tower erection, stringing, sagging, grounding, testing, client meetings, and progress reporting.

QA/QC Electrical and Civil Engineers are offered SAR 8,000 per month and require a BSc in the respective engineering discipline with at least 8 years of relevant quality control experience. The Electrical role focuses on inspections, materials and workmanship monitoring, and technical writing, while the Civil role covers compliance checks, inspections, and materials and workmanship audits.

The Project Site Engineer — Civil position offers SAR 8,000 per month and requires a Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, with SCE registration preferred. Candidates need 5–10 years of civil construction experience, including OHTL, substation, and underground work, with SEC/GCC experience preferred. The role involves excavation, backfilling, concrete works, foundations, trenching, and duct bank monitoring.

The Project Site Engineer — Electrical position also offers SAR 8,000 per month and requires a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, with SCE registration preferred. Candidates need 5–10 years of electrical construction experience with OHTL, substation, and underground projects. Responsibilities include transformer installation, GIS/AIS equipment, switchgear, control panels, and testing and commissioning.
